Our Active trail play equipment is designed to challenge children whilst encouraging a lifelong interest in fitness and health.

Each Active Trail course can be designed and constructed creatively to maximise the available space in your school playground and can accommodate a variety of obstacles, including rope bridges, ladder bars, and climbing nets to help build physical strength.
All the components of our Active Trails are constructed in pressure-treated, play-grade, machined round timber. The foundations are set below ground level and encased in concrete for total durability, with all below-ground timber encased in a durable bitumen sleeve to prevent it from degrading. Galvanised or stainless steel fixings are used to connect the timbers, and the ropes we use are all 16mm thick with a steel wire core for added durability and pupil safety. The timber is premium-grade and from a sustainable source; support posts carry a 15-year warranty against rot and infestation to make sure your Active Trail stands the test of time.
We offer 38 individual components that make up our Active Trail collection – and you can include as many or as few as you have space for. From wobbly log bridges to improve balance to climbing walls that build upper body strength, there are options for all spaces and budgets. Items such as our popular net climbers can be provided in a range of sizes, making them suitable for pre-schoolers right through to KS2 children.
