The construction and layout of the classroom can be configured to match your school’s individual requirements and a range of options are available, which include entrance planters, drop-down canvas panels and solid elevations with chalk or whiteboards in place of the standard palisade enclosure.

Spending the entire school day in the same classroom can be uninspiring for children, but with an Edspace Outdoor Classroom teachers can re-invigorate a zest for learning with a brand new educational space that can be used all-year round.

Functional & Durable Outdoor Classrooms

All our Outdoor Classrooms are constructed using pressure-treated play-grade timber which has been responsibly sourced and meets FSC standards. Every classroom has a timber decked floor with an integral access ramp, perimeter bench seating, palisade enclosure and a solid timber roof as standard. Depending on the available space, we can construct and install rectangular Classrooms from 3m x 2m, up to 8m x 4m, or a hexagonal version ranging from 4m to 6m in diameter. Of course, sometimes an ‘off the shelf’ option will not meet your requirements, so we also offer a fully bespoke Outdoor design and installation service. There are also plenty of options to customise your outdoor structure even further, with integrated bench seating around the external perimeter, solid full or half-height enclosure and fixed activity tables.
